My name is Tom, this is my site. Take a look around, drop me a line, read some of the fantastic content. I am a college student, living in Boston, working towards a Bachelors degree in Computer Science. After graduation I hope to have a solid background in programming C++, Java, PHP, and Python. Although I am not in a design major, I also hope to learn as much as I can about typography, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and CSS.
I have very little/no training in web development but it’s a huge interest and I hope that over time I can start producing some professional level work. For some reason I find typography and all things design interesting. I also am very interested in bettering my Photoshop skills.
My plans as of right now are to go into professional web development upon graduation, but we’ll see what the next 3 years have in store. My dream job is to be a freelance web developer. As of right now I have a basic understanding of Java, C++, Ruby, PHP, and Python. I also know enough about mark up to make this site, which I wrote in just plain old semantic HTML, and a little bit of CSS.
